Alex Kay Jensen
1960 - 2015
Alex Kay Jensen left this life unexpectedly at his home July 31, freed from the physical pain, deteriorating health and mental anguish that had befallen him. He was born
in the Mt. Pleasant, UT, hospital to Barbara Breinholt and Charles H. Jensen. In his early years, summers were spent in Ephraim, UT, and fall winter and spring in Logan, UT. At
age three he moved to Spanish Fork, UT, and at age 8 to Logan, UT, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Alex was an active youngster, which, on occasion, caused a small amount of consternation to those around him. He played football in youth leagues, at Sky View High School and at Snow Junior College and he wrestled at 190 pounds at Sky View. He completed his associate degree at Snow College where his specialty was finish carpentry.
Upon returning to Logan, he found employment in construction. He was employed by Brooks Rash Construction for many years and left his mark on much of the excellent finish carpentry in many homes in Cache Valley. He was employed by several other companies and individuals as well.
Alex enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting with family and friends and he enjoyed lighting a fire under Dutch ovens. Alex was kind and thoughtful to those around him and
frequently provided aid or assistance to people in need.
Alex married ReNee Price. Together they had three children, Andrea Lynn, Nicole and Shawn. He is survived by his estranged wife and children, his parents and mother-in law Virginia Price; sisters Janae Skabelund (Brent), Karen Ruth Albiston (Richard), Suzanne Hansen (Cory), Elizabeth Gundersen (Phil) and Jamie Nielsen; brothers Chad (Rozanne) and Paul (Julie).
