In Memory

Karla Anderson (Worthen)

Karla Anderson Worthen, 63, of Brigham City, Utah returned to her Heavenly Father on September 16, 2023, surrounded by family members.

Karla was born March 28, 1960 in Logan, Utah, to Blaine Leishman Anderson and Luella Jane Johnson Anderson. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren Damon Troy Wiltshire, Talan James Anderson, and Kayson Craig Anderson; her fiancé Robert Johnson, and her siblings Kim (Greg) Gohlinghorst, DelVon (Jana) Anderson, Byron (Diane) Anderson, and Trudy (Loyd) Bybee.

Throughout her childhood, she received numerous outstanding personal achievement awards
(including perfect attendance) pertaining to her school and church activities. She successfully
completed the Wardley Institute Professional Service Training Program and the Cache-Rich
Association Orientation Course, and was awarded her real estate license in May, 1996.

Karla was very outgoing and loved making people smile. She loved camping, fishing, and attending Mountain Men Rendezvous events and the Sham Battle located in her hometown.

She worked various jobs while as a single-parent raising her only child Travis – flagging, manufacturing, and retail sales.

Even with the struggles she herself faced, she had a big heart and was always willing and wanting to help-out others. She had a loving, kind and gentle soul. She dearly loved her 3 grandchildren. She adored her dog Bandit and her truck with the CB radio back in the day.

Her fiancé Robert and their cat loved her very much and she will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her son, Travis James Anderson and her mother, Luella Jane Johnson Anderson.

A viewing will take place on Saturday September 23 from 10 am to 11 am at Cache Valley Mortuary, 80 West 4200 North, Hyde Park, Utah.
